Our Team

Author cards

  • Four reviewers contribute to this site. Each of us has a lane and a shared obligation to keep the brand review honest and current. We write under a shared editorial voice rather than individual bylines, but we think readers deserve to know what kind of people are on the other side of the page.

The lead reviewer owns the overall assessment of Win Aud. They coordinate the test schedule, set the house position on contested questions and sign off on every scored verdict before publication. More than ten years in online gambling coverage, with a background that started in print and moved online during the mid-2010s expansion.

The payments expert handles cashier work — deposits, withdrawals, verification queues and the chokepoints that turn a good casino into a frustrating one. Previously held an operations role at a licensed Australian payments provider, so is familiar with the mechanics on both sides of the transaction.

The mobile tester runs the app and mobile web experience on a rotating set of devices — recent iPhones, mid-range Android handsets, tablets, and a deliberately older device to see how the layout copes with weaker hardware. Also covers the in-play sports experience, which lives or dies on mobile.

The legal editor reads the fine print so you do not have to. Reviews terms and conditions, wagering clauses, bonus rules, and anything that could turn around a seemingly generous promotion. Background in commercial law in Australia.

All four reviewers have been contributing to online gambling publications for at least five years.

How we work

  • A review cycle at Win Aud starts with a fresh account. One of our reviewers registers from a home connection in Australia, provides real identity documents to clear verification, and makes a deposit using one of the brand's supported methods. From there we run through the test plan the lead reviewer has prepared — bonuses to claim, games to sample, support channels to ping, limits to set and withdraw against.

Notes go into a shared document as we go. Screenshots are attached to each observation. When one reviewer's finding contradicts another's, we test again rather than guess which account had the odd session.

Drafting is done by whichever reviewer led the most recent round of testing. The lead reviewer edits. The legal editor reads anything that references fine print. Nothing goes live until two team members have signed it off.

We refresh scored sections at least every quarter. Bonus details, which change often, get re-checked monthly. When Win Aud makes a change we noticed late, we correct the page, note the correction and move on.

Roles

  • The four roles described above are how we divide the work, but they are not rigid. Any team member can raise a concern that crosses into another lane, and the lead reviewer is responsible for pulling together those threads before publication.

    • Lead reviewer — editorial direction, final sign-off, scored verdicts, overall tone of voice.
    • Payments expert — cashier journey, verification friction, deposit and withdrawal methods, hold times, fees.
    • Mobile tester — mobile web and app behaviour on a device matrix, in-play sports, performance under weaker connections.
    • Legal editor — terms and conditions, bonus small print, regulatory references, responsible gaming compliance.

We are intentionally a small team. A bigger byline list would look more impressive, but it would also slow down the decisions that keep the content current. Four people who all know the brand inside out work faster than a dozen who do not.

If you need to reach a specific reviewer — for example, with a payments-related tip — mention the lane in your contact message and we will route it to the right person.
